Band Info

Swamp Corpse was founded in 2009 and is playing sludge metal since the beginning. Slow heavy riffs, changing paces and a raw live feeling are the bands trademarks, characterizing their two albums. The members have been influenced by bands like Burning Witch, Crowbar, Electric Wizard, Slayer and Solitude Aeturnus.

Since 2011 Swamp Corpse had several gigs a year supporting and playing with various combos, e.g. Konvent, Ophis, Black Cobra, Isole and Saturnus. They organized two Sludge / Doom Events with some national bands in Markthalle/Marx Hamburg. In 2012 a live DVD from one of these gigs was released.

2018 Swamp Corpse released the first album “Bone Mill“. The second album „Vol. 2, One Louder“ was released in 2024.
Both were recorded, mixed and mastered at Tonmeisterei, Oldenburg.
